Gambling Strategy for a Roulette Gambler
November 6, 2009 | Filed Under Blog | 1 Comment
I say this time and time again but for some reasons our users don’t listen. So I’ve decided to post the Break Roulette Gambling Strategy here for anyone interested in a purely simple gambling strategy.
Do not chase losses
This is the number one rule broken by gamblers on and off the internet. If you lose then walk away. Especially online. You are going to lose. It’s part of gambling, pretty much the heart of gambling. So if you lose then just close the window and go to a different casino.
Now by lose I don’t mean you’re entire bankroll! Here’s where item number two comes in on our Gambling Strategy breakdown.
Set a Target Loss.
On BreakRoulette we set this at 30% of your bank. We’ve found this to be ideal. You can set your bank at 300 or 3000. Doesn’t matter but once you’ve lost 30% of that then walk away from the computer. If you don’t set a target loss then you’ll never be able to quite get ahold of our first item. How do you know when you’ve begun to chase losses instead of simply gambling within your agreed upon “comfort” zone; you’ve passed your target loss.
Use a Tool. Any Tool.
We’re not advocating cheating here. But you can still use your brain. Allthough roulette may seem like chance, (it is) the strategy is in managing your money. Putting down a big bet on red or black does not a winning gambler make. Anyone who does win and does win regularly will tell you the only way to do it is to manage your money. This isn’t always easy. Use a tool to help you. That’s what BreakRoulette is for.
Only bet with what you can afford to lose
This is the golden rule. Thee rule. Don’t even open up the browser if you can’t lose the money you’re about to deposit. Too many times I have guys and girls contacting me asking if they can make 400 a day. They need to make 400 a day to meet a bill or something. Luckily, I’m honest, not like alot of other bozos out there that promise flat screen tvs and island vacations. No, this is not an ATM machine. You will not print money off of this. This is gambling. You may win. You may not. This software will help you, and make you a better gambler but it’s not going to make you bulletproof. Gamble with money you can afford to loose. Period. Best way to make money, is to save it. Especially if your cautious about spending 49 dollars on a piece of software. If that’s a reach, save your money.
I hope this gambling strategy post has helped someone, somewhere on the internet. Gamble at your own risk. The casinos aren’t in your corner and the odds are against you. Come prepared.
Flash based casino games -Free Online Roulette
September 11, 2009 | Filed Under Blog | Leave a Comment
Online casino games abound on the internet today. You can find them with just about any search for free casinos online. But what you want to watch out for is all the extras you get when you play casinos free online.
One of the first things you encounter is alot of bloatware. Casinos will bombard you (although might not see it) with cookies, trackers, malware. Anything they can get on your computer they will. It’s free, but it’s not that free.
After that, one might simply have to deal with the annoyance of some of these free games. Casinos are known for being loud, riotous, raucous type of venues. They are in the real world and they are online. So don’t be surprised if a free casino is the loudest! It’s a bit different absorbing a free casino from the paid casino online. Paid ones don’t want to chase you away.
And finally, unfortunately, free, doesn’t always mean free. If you have to sign up, download or do anything other than play a free online casino game, you’ve done too much. Paid casinos, of course, require alot of information from you. But free ones, should not.
That brings me to this case of a free roulette offered from Rushmore Casino. I like Rushmore, they are good guys, run a good casino and accept US players. They came to me with this free online roulette game and I said, great! A flash roulette game, just like the kind you’ll play at the regular online casino is here for free. You can do many things with it. Practice your bets, practice break roulette, practice different online strategies; all for free.
Don’t worry about any spyware or bloatware. You aren’t downloading anything. All you’re doing is playing online in the free way which was advertised to you. The nice thing about this online roulette is that it’s just like the real online roulette from Rushmore. Real, in this case, means playing for money. There’s not much difference in the setup. The pressure (from you) might be different but playing this online casino right here in this browser, on this website is just like playing the online casino you can eventually download and play for real money.
Take some time and have fun with this online casino game: roulette. Learn the rules of the game. Learn how and what to bet. Learn what not to do. But most of all and best of all, learn for free. Save your money for gambling.
I played a couple of flash based casinos today. I like to try out the casino software this way before I decide to download it on to my computer.
The first one I played was 777.com from, the all encompassing, 888.com. I have a problem with 888.com because you can’t browse out of their web pages without them offering the “are you sure?” pop up windows. This is fine. A lot of people do it. But 888 has a tendency to hang up my browser on this. They take all day to suck the information from your hard drive before closing out the session.
I can’t guarantee this but something is running in the background while that window is trying to close.
The 777.com flash based game is good. It’s a big wide screen. Easy to use interface and available in a few languages. What I don’t like is the bit poss (woman) who makes a comment of “No more bets, please” every time.
The one I like better is the flash based game from Millionaire Casino. It has the nice ambient sound of the casino in the background. To some of us this is music to the ears. The chatter of people playing, the slots going off, and cocktail glasses clinking. This is a casino, baby! You have a lot of fun playing this flash based game. And I have to say, of the two this one makes you want to reach into your pocket a little bit more.
Other then the sound, the graphics on this flash based game are great. Crisp, responsive. It doesn’t get any better than this for some of the free online roulette games.
My PM at C-Planet offered me one for hosting on BreakRoulette. Heck of nice guy. So without further adieu, try out the flash based roulette wheel courtesy of C-Planet.
Live Roulette Casino – It’s pretty cool!
June 19, 2009 | Filed Under Blog | Leave a Comment
I’ve been seeing a lot about live roulette casinos over the last few months but I’ve just had my chips on other people’s table. Well the other day I decided to try Dublin Bet.
I liked it.
First of all it was very easy to download. It wasn’t a download really at all but a java app. I was surprised at how quickly it came down.
Secondly the visuals were not bad. I didn’t get the clean crisp pops of other roulette casinos but you could easy see the numbers, the board and the wheel.
The very best thing about the live roulette casino is the – live! Man, it’s live. It’s funny because I got this real seedy feel. You know, the feeling you get when you’re the only one in the casino and the dealer looks like they could give a holy hell and if you had a gun you would shoot yourself. Great, live, real-world feel to it. First time I really had that sensation online. It usually only occurs when you are, actually, live.
So grab a rum and coke or whatever your poison is (if you can have your wife dress up in a bunny suit and bring you one every few minutes, all the better) and step up to the table. This is live roulette. It almost feels like it. You won’t get a better more realistic play in front of your computer.
If you prefer the live action but can’t always make it down to the hall. Dublin Bet can just about get you there.
Enjoy!
Roulette Systems that Work
June 8, 2009 | Filed Under Blog | Comments Off
Findings a Roulette System that work can be half the battle. Using them wisely will be the second half of the battle.
The first half, you’ve found. Break Roulette. It works. Unlike many of the other roulette systems out there we do not bet on probability of future events. Any one that does is leading down the wrong path. That’s why all of these elaborate systems that give you a display of the table and a fancy probability calculator are really not worth your money. You will lose on any roulette system that attempts to predict the future.
You’ll also lose if you don’t use it wisely. I’ll tell you this now. We have plenty of customers who complain about why this software doesn’t make them instantly wealthy. There are no miracles or silver bullets out there folks. This roulette system will not buy you a new Ferrari. If it did I wouldn’t waste my time trying to sell it. What it can do is make you a better gambler. It is a system, which to work properly must be used properly.
The number one rule is don’t chase loses. Time and time again, if you are going down, there is nothing that can save you and if you try to save yourself by gambling more and more in an attempt to get even you’ll get burned. Walk away. You have lost today. Come back tomorrow.
Same with winning. Think you’re going to bank that rent check or car loan in one day at the roulette tables? You will not. If you when 10 euros or 10 bucks or 10 yuan, whatever it is, walk away. Move to another casino. You are the winner for that day. Consider yourself lucky and go.
Roulette systems that work are not ‘that’ hard to find. You are here, in fact. But using roulette systems in a manner that works for you is a different matter entirely. Remember, these are systems not machines. This is no ATM. Use it to better your odds. The number one rule in gambling is do not play with more than you can lose. If you follow that rule you’ll come out on top no matter what you use.
How much can I expect to earn per day?
May 27, 2009 | Filed Under Blog | Leave a Comment
How to win at roulette? I get this search/question all the time from people who are thinking about downloading the software.
It’s a good question. People want to know before they invest the money how to win at roulette. But, I can’t tell them that. What I can do is give them a few words of wisdom.
First of all, I tell everyone your casino will not be your cash machine. It will not be an ATM for you. Anytime you think you need to make a 100 do not go to the casino. If you need to make 100 then sell something.
Casinos are for the rush. I’ll say this over and over again. It is the rush you are coming for. It is for the release of endorphins that we can no longer achieve by hunting for our food or marching across the tundra. But fear not, you can get something similar in the comfort of your home or your flat, with online gambling. This is why we do it, especially roulette. There is nothing like the expectation, the held breath of watching the ball bounce around the wheel. Sort of like seeing that wildabeast over in the bush. Think of my software like a tool; a tool for hunting. Just like a gun or a bow and arrow. Without them you might kill the animal. Might. But with them, with tools, weapons, software; there is a better chance at killing it.
Secondly, (and I’ll try to move away from the hunting metaphors) how much you win depends on your target. I have played many times with a target of simply 10% of my bank (this is what Break Roulette suggest). Winning only 5 or 6 dollars provides a simple, good feeling. I have won, that is enough. And at this I walk away. Similar to shooting a squirrel instead of a mastadon. Sorry, couldn’t help myself.
Now if I’d want to win more or if I was expecting to hit my target mark I might go ahead and bet more. This is wrong. If you “expect”, or have set a goal, you are probably going to lose. Goal setting is terrible in gambling. I’d say it’s one of the worst places to do it because you are invariably pushing your luck.
You really have a goal of 200 a day? What if you only win 10 your first spin? Are you going to keep going until you win 20 and then so on and so on? I can tell you, I do have customers who play over a dozen casinos a day. If you like to do this then give it a run. Invest 100 or so in each one and go on from there.
But this then gets us into the question of a bank. If I have 1200 to distribute throughout online casinos then I must alos have 1200 to lose. Remember this is gambling and the NUMBER ONE rule in gambling is only play with money you can afford to lose.
Now this comes back to the original question of why use our software if you can’t win 200 a day? Well, I look at it this way. Try to win 200 a day in roulette without my software. I guarantee you will not be as successful.
You could do it. You could win at roulette without this software. Just like you could kill a bear with a pocketknife. But why not use a rifle or a very, very large hunting knife.
The thrill is had in gambling when we win. No matter how small; winning small is better than losing big. So some days you kill a squirrel. It’s still fun, believe me. And in the end you should approach gambling with this type of open attitude, not with expectations.
How to lose at Roulette
May 18, 2009 | Filed Under Blog | Leave a Comment
There are many ways to lose at roulette but one way in particular is by not changing your betting strategy as your bank changes.
You can easily start off a round of roulette with a loss. In this case that can mean a 30 point loss from a 100 point bank. Now your bank is 70. When you next log in to play you have to adjust your setup. If you leave your target at 10 and your loss at 30 you may very well be on the fast track to the cashier.
You can’t do this.
If you have lost then adjust your target. In this case you’ll be happy with winning 7 units and your Stop loss becomes 21. Same as if you have a bank of let’s say 40 units. In that case you are looking to only win 4. I know, sounds simple, 4 spins (actually probably more like six) but you have to get out after the win of 4.
So your bank is now only 44, big deal. Well, it’s 4 more than you started with and you have not lost that round.
Eventually you will build this back up. And this is not the case on all your casinos. But you have to play by the betting strategy rules, always 10% of your bank for the target win and 30% of that for the loss.
You may not hit amazing, big numbers every time you win. But you won’t lose. Do not lose at Roulette. This is what we are trying to prevent.
US Friendly and Friendlier at Cherry Red
May 15, 2009 | Filed Under Blog | Leave a Comment
I signed up today with Cherry Red Casino. I’d been there before but it’s been a while since I played it so I had forgotten my password. I must say things have really gotten better there as far as the acceptance of money and credit cards. I can remember the last time even having to get on the phone with their customer service to discuss things. Not so this time.
It took the Visa right away and verified it as fast as any e-commerce checkout would. I have to say it was very nice.
Now did I win? No. But I got out before I lost my bank. I’ll be back a little later today or maybe tomorrow. I haven’t played this casino in quiet some time so I can’t comment on whether or not it should stay recommended. I’ll have to update the post.
But for now if you are looking for a US Friendly Casino, whether it’s roulette of blackjack or what have you, Cherry Red does a really nice job of accepting your money. Which if you’ve done this for a while, sometimes is the hardest thing to getting going on the tables.
Looking forward to more losing up of some of the regulations in the US. Here’s to Barney Frank.
Give Cherry Red a run.
Professional roulette players
May 11, 2009 | Filed Under Blog | Leave a Comment
You’ll find professional roulette players in all shapes and sizes but a few things they will all have in common are a belief in randomness, a betting or layout strategy, and a strong discipline.
Randomness is at the heart of every professional roulette player. If you see a guy going all in on red because it’s been a black number the last 8 spins, he’s not a professional player. All pros know that the next spin has nothing, absolutely nothing to do with the previous spin. They are not related in any way, shape or form. If you bet in a manner that would suggest they are, then you will invariably, at some point, lose big. Professional roulette players do not lose big.
This leads me to my next point. A layout strategy. A layout strategy is basically a betting strategy. You are going to bet a certain amount on the next spin and that amount is going to be based on the amount that you bet on the previous spin. Break Roulette covers this area for you. The pros have a system and if you watch them long enough you may be able to pick up on it. But like all systems there are as many are there are pros out there. So it’s not a matter of the best system but finding a system that works for your game. But betting willy nilly over the course of an hour is not a system and will not make you a professional roulette player.
Finally it takes a strong discipline to be a professional roulette player. You have to know when to walk away from the table. I emphasize this time and time again to our Break Roulette customers. You will not become a professional gambler by playing the most sessions that you possibly can. This is not poker in that sense. You do not necessarily get better at roulette over time. You can get wiser and you can get more disciplined but when you’re dealing with randomness it’s a new ball game every day. If you’ve played every day for a year you probably aren’t any better than you were after the first week (that is, of course, if you’ve implemented the first two principles I mentioned here). So don’t knock yourself out by going for the maximum amount every time. You won’t win it. You will lose and you will not be a professional roulette player.
Knowing when to walk away whether after a win or more importantly a loss is the best way to become a professional roulette player.
Winning doesn’t always mean tripling your bank. Some days it means simply keeping your bank.
Playing Roulette Online
May 2, 2009 | Filed Under Blog | Leave a Comment
Playing roulette online can be an exuberant or horrible experience depending on how you approach it. First things first you must set yourself a goal. Like life, goals can be helpful in getting somewhere. I don’t aspire to the “you must set goals” theory but when it comes to playing roulette or any other table game online you better set a goal or you can find yourself short on cash very quickly.
Goals = Limits?
You can look at this one of two ways and it might even be a matter of the glass is half empty or it’s half full but setting a goal can also mean setting a limit. Limits help you know when to get out. Part of gambling (some say the biggest part) is knowing when to get out. So a setting a limit will help you be a better gambler.
Limits can also be set at the high level. I only want to win “this much”. When playing roulette online I separate myself from the word goal because I don’t essentially want to strive for anything. I want to win period. Secondly I want to stay in the game and come back tomorrow. I’ve played too long online to know that setting a goal of 300 a day is going to send you to back the cashier for another and another deposit.
But what am I here for then
Well, that’s a good question. You’re here to win and your here to gamble. There is a certain school of though that expounds on the adrenaline and the rush from anticipation. When that ball is bouncing around the wheel and you’re holding your breath? Yes, that. That is exactly what some of us come for. I’d have to admin that’s big reason why I do it. For the rush. The game of chance. Courting Lady Luck.
But nothing can put a scratch on the record quicker than a loss, multiplied by another and then another. So here’s where the limits and goals come in.
In Conclusion
Setting limits help you stay in the game. They help you play longer. They help you win in that you don’t lose your money. So what’s your definition of winning at the casino, walking away with triple your bank or having enough to come back the next day?
